This product is part of my range of steel restraints that are designed to be affordable, by using commercially available U-bolts as restraints. However, low price does not mean low security!

Two lengths of 40x5mm mild steel flat bar are joined with a substantial welded hinge. Once the bar is unfolded, the large central U-bolt can be placed around the sub’s neck; once the nuts are tightened, the bar is held rigid, no longer able to fold up. The wrists can then be locked in place using the small U-bolts to either side- the nature of the U-bolts means that these restraints will adjust to fit a very wide range of wrist sizes. The fasteners can be tightened either with the supplied spanners, or, for a little extra, you can upgrade to a socket key.

The bar folds down to about 40cm (17”) long, and is about twice that length when unfolded and in use. After fabrication, the stock is given a brushed finish with a wire wheel, and is clearcoated to prevent rust. It weighs approximately 1.2kg.
